It will be a year in October since we had to let our sweet Brandy girl. I still miss her so. Here she is just a couple years ago by my favorite tree in the front yard.
Brandy was such a beautiful dog. I know how you must miss her. I still have my Ed, but he'll be thirteen soon. There will be such a void in my life without him.
My little dachshund, Baby Girl was nineteen when she decided to go on a long journey. She was my best friend. She left me a special gift of wonderful memories filled laughter and tears.
What a beautiful photo, Phyllis! Brandy's coloring is gorgeous - golden dog, golden tree, golden light! What a wonderful tribute that you would post now. I'm so sorry for your loss and know how you must miss her. It's been less than three months since we lost our Tam-O. It's so hard. I was out today and came home a little while ago. So hard coming home to an empty house and not getting that exuberant greeting. They fill our homes and hearts with joy. Your Brandy and my Tam-O have gone where all the good dogs go! I love visualising Tam playing in beautiful places. So, now I'm imagining Brandy and Tam-O playing in that lush yard with the golden tree and the golden light.
Oh, so sweet Phyllis. I know she was your companion and is truly missed, I am glad you have photos to go with your memories.
