Wet-in-wet watercolor technique

I have been doing a lot of wet-in-wet watercolor technique on the new book I'm painting. It's a big challenge but fun. There are moments I feel totally out of control but it's also exhilarating to not know what the outcome will be. Talk about letting go! Which is completely new for me but I am really enjoying it.

It's turning out beautiful Phyllis!! :o)

I love to work wet on wet too. I see you have your paper taped to the table, have you tried taping it to a board instead so you can then lift it and tilt it and play with the washes. I find it's easier to control at times and really fun too. Hee!

Thanks Alicia! Great suggestion! My desk does tilt but being able to move it back and forth on a board would definitely free up some movement of the washes. :)
