Meet Katharine!
I got the ok from the editor so I'd like to introduce Katharine, the Almost Great! The author, Lisa Mullarky has posted more about the series on her website and journal. Lisa is a great writer and I really have enjoyed working on this fun series of chapter books over the past 6 months. I think the kids are going to love reading these!

I love the soft tone and the subtle feel! the classic style! superb! (just think about doing those old style, lately... what a coincidence) : )
Hey Phyllis, these are fabulous! Congratulations, I know it must me nice to "finally" be able to show all of your hard work. I especially like the top illustration because she reminds me of me when I was her age! lol I am still such a girly-girl even now. I really like the light effect coming from the spotlight, too. Sweet!
Phyllis, as I open each attachment from Stephanie, I truly feel like it's Christmas morning and I'm getting showered with my entire wish list! You are an amazing, incredibly talented illustrator. Without you, Katharine wouldn't be the fab-u-lo-so, sparkly girl that she is.

Gosh Lisa, I'm blushing!! Thank you for writing such a wonderful series for young readers to enjoy for years to come!! I had SO much fun creating Katharine and her wonderful family and friends in these books.
I can't wait to actually get the printed copies! My nieces will love them!!
