Spring is finally here!! Shhh...better not say that out loud or it might snow.

Dear Friends,

My grass is finally starting to turn green...hooray!!!! There have even been a few sporadic 70 degree days here and there. Spring is funny that way. It can be 70 degrees one day and the next could be freezing and snowing so I just try and enjoy every day. It is never boring, that's for sure!

I have been busy sketching lately. I first started sketching this little girl called "Wonder" but I didn't get to the final painting before I was commissioned to create a spring/Easter painting for a wonderful customer and friend. However, someone on Instagram asked if I would be willing to sell it in sketch form and I was more than happy to do so. It is now available in my shop as a sketch until I can get time to paint it. This got me thinking that I may start offering several of my pieces in sketch form in the near future. There is something really magical about sketches.

Below is a look at the commissioned piece I did and although I sent off the original watercolor painting to my lovely customer, I am now offering it in print form to the rest of you all here! Just click on the photo to go see in the shop.

You have beautiful work! I am excited that you are selling at least one of your works as a sketch, I hope you continue ..:) I have some stamps of your designs (Unity) and really love them. My DD really enjoys them, also. I hope one day to actually have a few prints for her room. They are gorgeous!
