animals!
I have been craving to do more animal books but I seem to continue to get projects with children in them, instead. That is probably because I have so many kids in my portfolio. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE drawing kids but I also really enjoy drawing animals so I have been adding a few critters to my portfolio, recently.

And I agree... it does tend to be that you get commissioned for more of what you show in your folio. I hope these bring you some animal commissions.
How sweet and soft! These will definitely bring you lots of work! Animals are my absolute favorite to draw. That book I'm working on with the boy and blanket started out as a little boy as the main character. After a while, I thought, hmmm I'd rather draw a bear! So I changed it and that's what he is. :)
